BCLP has again been recognized in the Legal 500 Green Guide: EMEA 2024 for France for handing a full spectrum of “energy, infrastructure and ESG-related work, with a particular focus on wind, solar and energy storage.”

We’ve been recognized for our “green M&A work,” including advising R3, a subsidiary of the European electric mobility company DBT, on its partnership with Amundi Transition Energétique and Banque des Territoires, which is a consortium for the development of the EV charging points throughout France. Our work assisting RGreen Invest, a specialist in financing energy transition, on a joint venture with battery storage company NW Groupe to create NW Storm was also highlighted. These projects “mark an important step in assisting France in its aim to reduce its production of greenhouse gases by 2030,” the guide states.

Practice co-heads Jean-Pierre Delvigne and David Blondel have also been acknowledged as lawyers that “stand out for their energy transition work."

The publication noted that BCLP’s Paris office was recently awarded the BREEAM excellent certification for sustainability, which is supplemented with internal initiatives including a sustainability committee that works to implement best practices “through a blend of waste reduction and utilities conservation.”
