BCLP Associates Grace Colato Martinez, Courtney Stout, and Partner Jennifer Berhorst have been recognized with the prestigious 2024 Missouri Bar Pro Bono Award for their exemplary contributions within the communities in which they work and live.

The honor highlights the lawyers' dedication and efforts while providing critical legal aid in Hague Convention cases involving international child abductions in the Kansas City area. Each year, The Missouri Bar selects recipients who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to serving low-income individuals in need on a volunteer basis.

This recognition follows a major pro bono victory in a Hague Convention case, where Grace, Courtney and, Jennifer successfully reunited a father with his child who was wrongfully taken from Mexico to the United States.

The Missouri Bar is set to feature the Pro Bono Award recipients as part of its national Pro Bono Week celebrations.
