International law firm BCLP presented a special panel discussion Feb. 23 in celebration of UK LGBTQ+ History Month. The event, co-hosted in London with JPMorgan Chase & Co., featured distinguished LGBTQ+ leaders, trailblazers and other special guests.

In addition to hearing from Joseph Galliano-Doig, co-founder and director of Queer Britain, attendees also heard from Patrick Sammon and Bennett Singer, co-directors of the award-winning documentary Cured, which details the struggle to have homosexuality removed from the American Psychiatric Association's manual of mental illnesses in the 1970s.

Other panellists included Mark Segal, a lifelong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and Stonewall Riots veteran, as well as Diana Rodriguez, founder of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, who shared what to expect from the landmark museum when it opens next to New York's Legendary Stonewall Inn in 2024.
