Real Estate Partners Justine Oldale and Claire Milton, with head of Corporate Responsibility Alison Klarfeld, were featured Nov. 10 by LandAid on the firm’s contribution to LandAid’s pro bono program and why pro bono work is so important. The article ran in conjunction with Pro Bono Week in the UK, happening Nov. 7 – 11.

The LandAid pro bono program matches the knowledge and professional service of organizations working in the property industry with not-for-profit groups across the UK, allowing charitable organizations to provide life-changing support to disadvantaged young people, families, and communities across the spectrum of those in need.

Under Alison and Justine’s leadership, BCLP’s pro bono activity in the UK has grown significantly, thanks to their passion and dedication to supporting good causes. LandAid also has strong links with the firm through Claire, who is both a trustee for LandAid and the chair of their Grants and Impact Committee. Alongside many generous and hard-working colleagues, they have been responsible for the firm donating significant numbers of pro bono hours to support LandAid’s charity partners with a wide range of real estate-based legal issues.
