International law firm BCLP announced today the addition of Partner David Rundle, who joins from WilmerHale and will focus on white collar and regulatory investigations. Resident in BCLP’s London office, David brings significant experience in transatlantic investigations and will strengthen the firm’s white collar capabilities between the UK and US.

David represents individuals and companies in regulatory and criminal investigations, particularly those within the financial services industry. His practice focuses on wholesale markets, financial crime, and the regulatory changes associated with today’s evolving technology.

Dual-qualified in England and Wales and New York, David routinely represents individuals and companies in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), where he was seconded to the Enforcement Division earlier in his career, as well as those brought by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Serious Fraud Office (SFO). In addition, he assists firms with supervisory inquiries and internal investigations, and enjoys a successful track record representing senior executives who face challenges to their reputations, livelihoods, and liberty.

“We are excited to welcome David to the firm; his arrival reflects our focus on expanding our contentious regulatory and white collar investigations practice in London. We have a strong presence in the US, and David’s experience will be key to our clients with transatlantic investigations mandates,” noted Polly James, global practice co-leader of BCLP’s Financial Services Disputes & Investigations Group. “We know David will fit in very naturally with our global team, and we look forward to introducing him to clients across the firm.”

A former criminal barrister, David is a well-established and well-recognized practitioner, highly ranked by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. He is the latest in a series of high-profile litigators to join BCLP in recent weeks. Last week, the firm announced the launch of a new US office in Seattle with the arrival of litigation Partners Jennifer Campbell and Allison Krashan. In total, 10 lateral partners have joined since the beginning of the year with BCLP focused on strategic hires who can take full advantage of the firm’s growing platform to best serve clients around the globe.
