BCLP is pleased to announce it has now become an accredited menopause-friendly employer in the UK.

The Menopause Friendly Accreditation, established by Henpicked: Menopause in The Workplace, recognises high standards and proven practices that embrace menopause in the workplace.

The Menopause Friendly Accreditation is industry-recognised and the only accreditation that sets clear standards that must be met. As such, it is truly meaningful and considered a mark of excellence for menopause support in the workplace.

In order to achieve the Menopause Friendly Accreditation, BCLP was assessed by an Independent Panel and had to demonstrate evidence of its effectiveness in five key areas, namely: culture, policies and practices, training, engagement and working environment.

Jinal Shah, London Managing Partner, commented, “I’m proud BCLP has been officially recognised as a menopause-friendly employer. This highlights the steps we’ve taken to provide support in the workplace and reaffirms our commitment to fostering a compassionate and progressive environment for our people.”

Deborah Garlick, CEO of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, commented, “With gender equity high on the corporate agenda, it’s never been more important to be menopause friendly. Meaningful change can only come through taking action – simply having a policy or plan isn’t enough. The Menopause Friendly Accreditation sets apart those organisations that can show their actions are making a positive impact in the workplace. BCLP demonstrated this very clearly and they are very deserving of this recognition.”
