BCLP awarded Legal Firm of the Year at FIDIC Contract Users’ Awards

International law firm BCLP has been awarded Legal Firm of the Year at this year’s FIDIC Contract Users’ Awards, following a fantastic submission by its Singapore office.

Now in its sixth year, the awards recognise excellence in the use of FIDIC contract forms for project delivery and showcase examples of good practice through collaboration worldwide.

Praising BCLP’s entry, the judges noted:

“[BCLP] has created a global FIDIC centre of excellence that allows experts to meet and discuss. They have a strong focus on anti-corruption provisions and also DAABs and have gone above and beyond in their ‘extra-curricular’ activities in promoting FIDIC documents.

[The firm] has a broad global presence with 90 construction and engineering specialists, has spread the word on FIDIC forms and are active participants in FIDIC events.”

The judges were also impressed by the BCLP’s interconnected global construction department, which seamlessly shares best practices across offices in Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, France, the UK and the US.

This recognition follows BCLP’s prior accolades at the FIDIC Contract Users’ Awards, where the firm was ‘highly commended’ for its work in the UK in 2023 and the UAE in 2022.
