BCLP Appoints New Co-Global Practice Group Leader for Business and Commercial Disputes
Jun 02, 2025Leading international law firm BCLP announces today that Oran Gelb has been appointed Co-Global Group Leader for its Business and Commercial Disputes Practice. Based in London, Oran brings extensive experience within the disputes practice, having previously led BCLP’s UK Banking Litigation practice.
Oran will be replacing Graham Shear, who will be stepping down from the role after nearly five years leading the practice group. Over those five years, Graham has made substantial contributions to the practice’s success and in reinforcing the firm’s commitment to client service in the market. With more than 30 years of experience as a commercial litigator, Graham will continue his disputes and investigations practice at BCLP and will continue to serve as EMEA Regional Leader of the firm’s Litigations & Investigations Department.
Oran has acted on some of the most high-profile litigation and investigations in recent years, representing major global financial institutions as well as clients in sectors including technology, telecoms, retail, and transport. His appointment reflects BCLP’s continued investment in its global litigation capabilities and its commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients worldwide.
