BCLP advises Wourth Group Limited on the acquisition of Peter Hahn GmbH
Aug 29, 2024International law firm BCLP has advised leading British fashion and lifestyle company Wourth Group Limited on its strategic acquisition of Peter Hahn GmbH. The transaction was implemented as part of an insolvency plan and secures the long-term continuation of Peter Hahn's business operations, expanding Wourth Group's international market position in the DACH region and the Netherlands.
The Wourth Group will provide interim financing with immediate effect to secure Peter Hahn's ongoing business operations. This financial support forms the basis for the closing of the transaction, which is planned for the end of September 2024. With the successful implementation of this plan, Peter Hahn will be able to continue its business operations independently while preserving all existing jobs.
The transaction was led by Partner Till Buschmann and Counsel Katrin Schröder from the Frankfurt Restructuring & Insolvency team and partner Richard Obank from the London office.
