BCLP advises Tristan Capital Partners on €400m pan-European easyHotel takeover

International law firm BCLP advised EPISO 6 Fund, which is managed by Tristan Capital Partners, on its acquisition of affordable low-carbon hotel operator, easyHotel. The deal represents one of the largest and most significant deals in the current European hotel market.

EasyHotel is a leading operator of hotels and operates 48 hotels with c. 4,700 rooms across Europe, including the UK, Ireland, France, Benelux, Spain and Switzerland.  The portfolio consists of a mixture of owned, leased and franchised properties across 11 countries in the UK and Europe. 

BCLP previously acted for a Fund managed by Tristan on its acquisition of the Point A hotel portfolio from Wellcome Trust and Queensway for circa. £420 million in 2022. This latest acquisition of easyHotel marks Tristan as being a significant hotel investor and operator in the European budget hotels space.
