BCLP advises The Foschini Group with its acquisition of White Stuff

BCLP has advised a subsidiary of The Foschini Group with its acquisition of the entire share capital of White Stuff Group Limited.

TFG is a South African retail clothing group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It trades under 35 leading fashion lifestyle brands and has over 4,700 outlets on five continents. In recent years, TFG has been increasingly active in the UK market and has acquired other brands including Phase Eight, Whistles and, Hobbs.

White Stuff was founded in 1985 and specializes in clothing for women, men and, children. It is present in 113 stores and almost 50 concessions in the UK, including in John Lewis and Marks & Spencer, and operates approximately 30 stores and concessions across Europe, primarily in Germany.

The client relationship partner is Co-Global Practice Group Leader for Corporate Transactions, Benjamin Lee.
