BCLP advises ING Germany on green finance of a logistic property in Saxony, Germany
Jul 18, 2024International law firm BCLP has advised ING Germany (ING) on the origination of a large-volume green real estate finance loan. The borrower belongs to the global developer, investor and fund manager Hines.
ING, as the sole lender, refinanced the equity used to acquire the logistics property located in Hainichen, Germany. The property comprises a logistics asset with a gross floor area of roughly 74,600 sqm, 258 car parking lots and 14 truck parking lots. It is fully leased and has received a DGNB “Gold” certification. Additionally, the loan is structured as a green loan.
ING is the third largest bank in Germany and one of the top five largest real estate banks in Europe.
