International law firm BCLP has advised Global Gate Capital on the sale of two commercial properties in Germany, one in the town of Gross-Gerau south of Frankfurt and the other in Herford, near the cities of Bielefeld and Hanover.

The buyer is a joint venture between asset and investment manager Melcombe Partners and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. The two properties offer combined rental space of some 16,000 square meters and are fully leased out.

The property in Gross-Gerau, built in 2008, is a light industrial facility, while the property in Herford, built in 2009, is a logistics facility. Both are high-quality modern structures which meet high technical standards.

Global Gate Capital is a global investment firm specialized in real estate and private equity, with offices in London, New York and Dubai.

A BCLP team led by Berlin real estate Partner Dr. Norbert Impelmann advised Global Gate Capital on this transaction. He was supported by Frankfurt real estate Counsel Caspar Samuel von Eicke und Polwitz and Berlin real estate Senior Associates Jennifer Lange and Johannes Wolff. In addition to BCLP as legal counsel, the seller also was advised by CBRE and Drees & Sommer.
