Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) advised Groupe News Participations (Altice France) on the acquisition of four Azur TV Group companies. 

This transaction involved the acquisition of Azur TV, a company that owns and operates three local television channels (Azur TV, Provence Azur and Var Azur), an advertising agency and two production companies. 

Finalization of this acquisition is subject to the approval of the CSA. 

Groupe News Participations (GNP) is a leading player in the media sector in France. Through its subsidiaries, GNP notably operates the radio stations RMC and BFM Business, the national DTT channels BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story, the channels BFM Business TV, BFM Paris, BFM Lyon, BFM Grand Lille, BFM Grand Littoral, RMC Sport News, RMC Sport, BFM DICI, as well as the websites and applications of these media brands. 

BCLP’s team leading this transaction included Paris Of Counsel Kai Völpel, Associates Justine Langer and Dora Pucci in M&A/Corporate Finance, as well as Partner Christine Daric and Associate Yecine Nour on tax aspects.
