Bank Consortium Advised by BCLP on Financing for Acquisition of MLA Group
Sep 30, 2021International law firm BCLP advised Hélia Conseil (as co-arranger), Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance de Midi Pyrénées (as co-arranger and lender), and lenders Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance Aquitaine Poitou Charentes, BNP Paribas and Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel Toulouse 31 in the financing of the leveraged buyout of the MLA Group.
Galia Gestion is buying the MLA Group companies, in partnership with IRDI Capital Investissement and Franck Lefèvre, who will take over the management of the group.
The MLA Group, founded nearly 20 years ago by Michel Larregain, is a recognized player in the field of electrical work (high and low voltage). Its main clients comprise companies in the tertiary sector, government agencies, and industry and airport equipment manufacturers.
The transaction was partially financed by a banking consortium of the Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance de Midi Pyrénées, the Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance Aquitaine Poitou Charentes, BNP Paribas and the Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel Toulouse 31, as well as by a debt issue subscribed by funds and companies managed by Galia Gestion and IRDI Capital Investissement.
Hélia Conseil was represented by Antoine Goget, Antoine Leroy and Carine Poulain. The Caisse d'Epargne et de Prévoyance de Midi Pyrénées, represented by Magali Buvat, arranged the bank loan.
