BCLP’s Charlotte Office Managing Partner, Angelia Duncan, has been selected as one of the Charlotte Business Journal 2024 Women in Business Award winners! This award honors 25 women annually who have made a difference in their workplace and are blazing trails for other women.

Angelia’s exceptional achievements, leadership, and dedication to both her professional and community endeavors embody the spirit of this award. In addition to being a successful commercial litigator with a nationwide practice focusing on a wide range of business disputes, what sets Angelia apart is her unwavering dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. In just two years, Angelia has tripled the practice group capabilities in Charlotte with strategic growth. This expansion reflects her visionary approach to business development and her commitment to meeting the evolving needs of clients. Having served as co-chair of BCLP’s Race and Ethnicity Inclusion Network (REIN) for three years and in her fourth year as a member of the firm’s U.S. Women’s Leadership Board, she is an advocate for diversity and inclusion and has actively championed initiatives that promote equality and empower diverse lawyers in the workplace.
