Andrew Street appointed to the RFU Disciplinary Panel

We are pleased to announce Partner Andrew Street has been appointed to the Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Panel.

RFU Disciplinary Panels deal with all matters relating to the Men’s Premiership, Championship and National Leagues 1 & 2 together, as well as the Women’s Premiership. In addition, the panel also deals with matters relating to the Community game (levels 5 and below) and cases that arise out of the above fixtures including both on-field acts of foul play and off-field misconduct.

Andrew is a Partner in BCLP’s Litigations and Investigations team, with specific focus on business and commercial disputes. Andrew has over a decade of experience acting on sports disputes and contentious regulatory and disciplinary matters in sport, including acting on matters involving Premiership rugby clubs and is a widely recognized practitioner in Chambers & Partners on the subject of sports law.

As well as Andrew’s appointment to the RFU Disciplinary Panel this year, he is also a member of the Judicial Panels for the LTA and England Boxing. Furthermore, Andrew is a contributing author to the textbook “Football and the Law” (Bloomsbury), published by The Times, which deals with sports law issues.
